The iZi Kid i-Size is one of the first child safety seats that is approved under the latest i-Size car seat regulations.

It is approved for rear-facing use for children up to approximately four years of age. The child car seat has been fitted with a harness system that reduces the strain on the child in any collision, significantly improving safety. Rear facing is five times safer because small children are not miniature versions of adults. Their heads are disproportionately heavy, their backs and neck vertebrae are under-developed and their reflexes and ability to react are poor.
